Turtle Breeze A4 studio print on an easel, an original painting by Collie WA artist Brittanie of Brugs Creations

Meet the Collie Artist Behind Brugs Creations

Every painting, print and sticker in this shop starts in the same place: a small studio in Collie, Western Australia, where Brittanie turns bold ideas into even bolder colour. If you've ever wondered who's behind Brugs Creations, this one's for you.

A Collie WA artist who loves colour

Brittanie's style is hard to put in one box. It sits somewhere between contemporary illustration, pop culture and expressive, layered painting. What ties it all together is colour. Lots of it. Her palettes are chosen for feeling rather than realism, so a turtle might glow in shades you'd never see at the beach, and that's exactly the point.

She paints Australian wildlife and ocean life, cheeky pop culture moments and a fair bit of retro "naughty nostalgia". Some pieces make you laugh first and think later. Others sit quietly with you for a while. Most do a bit of both.

Where Art Doesn't Blend In

The Brugs Creations tagline says it all. Brittanie's work isn't made to match the couch. It's made to start a conversation, bring a bit of personality to a room and remind you that art is made by people, not machines. Visible brush marks, layered paint and the odd happy accident are all part of the process.

Ways to bring her art home

There's something here for every wall and every budget:

Something made just for you

Brittanie also takes on commissioned artwork. You don't need a finished idea to get started. A memory, a favourite animal, a colour palette or just a feeling is plenty. You'll chat it through together before anything is locked in, and then she gets painting.

Supporting a small WA artist

Brugs Creations is a small, independent business, and every order genuinely makes a difference. Whether you pick up a single sticker or an original for your living room, you're helping a local Western Australian artist keep doing what she loves. We ship Australia-wide.
