Voyager - 2026

Voyager has been a journey, both literally and figuratively.

Over 24 months in the making, this artwork became much more than a painting. What began as a creative exploration was eventually put aside during one of the most difficult chapters of Brittanie's life.
Navigating a painful breakup and a difficult period in her life, Brittanie found her painting slowing significantly. Although she never stopped painting altogether, the passion and energy she could devote to her art became harder to find. Voyager remained unfinished as she worked through this challenging chapter.

With time, healing, and the encouragement of her current partner, who provided a safe and supportive space, Brittanie returned to Voyager with renewed energy and when she did, there was no holding back.

Bursting with vibrant neons, ultraviolet pigments and paints that glow in the dark, Voyager became an expression of everything she was ready to embrace again... colour, freedom, confidence and joy.
Her largest and brightest artwork to date, Voyager represents a personal turning point. A reminder that even when our creativity feels lost, it can return more boldly and brilliantly than ever.

The journey was long, but the spark was never truly gone.
