Soul-lidarity - A4 Studio Print

Soul-lidarity — A4 Studio Print

Created around ANZAC Day in 2022, Soul-lidarity is Brittanie's heartfelt tribute to the lives and sacrifices made during times of war, honouring not only the men and women who served, but also the smaller, equally mighty souls who served alongside them.

At the heart of this artwork is the horse, an animal whose strength, loyalty and courage played an important role throughout military history. Unlike the people who went to war, these animals had no choice in the sacrifices they were asked to make.

Through Soul-lidarity, Brittanie reflects on the profound, often unspoken bond between humans and animals, a connection she believes humanity sometimes forgets to nurture and protect.

More than an artwork of remembrance, Soul-lidarity carries a message of compassion. It invites us to recognise the lives of all creatures, great and small, and remember that every living being deserves love, kindness and consideration.

A tribute to the voiceless, the courageous and the bonds that transcend words.
